WHAT: The 2014 North American International Auto Show 25th Anniversary

I am excited to present the heeltote.com experience at the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in the newly renovated Cobo Center in Detroit told in haikus to celebrate their 25th Anniversary.

We like firsts and Detroit was the first to land the International auto show 25 years ago despite its non resort-like atmosphere.  We are also introducing our new section ‘Heeltote Haikus’ on this special occasion. 

“Dreaming is for free | in the auto show you can | find the car of yours.” 

NAIAS has an economic impact on metro Detroit and raises millions of dollars for charities.   See our favorite photo and why below.

Heeltote Haikus: Detroit will Rebuild

Of course, we had to go to the auto show in Motor City and this experience has inspired the Detroit will Rebuild series of 'Heeltote Haikus'.

We chose our favorite photo from the 2014 North American International Auto Show 25th Anniversary because it could have made a difference.  At NAIAS, Honda debuted its All New 2015 FIT in Detroit.  Honda has teamed up with Gleaners, for charity, to end hunger with #HondaCaresDetroit.  After posing, a Honda representative asked us to enter the photo for the cause, but heeltote.com at that time could not enter the photo.

So what else stood out for us at NAIAS?  We liked the lightweight Ford F-150 and many more vehicles but we would write about that in another review.
